Child abuse and neglect affect thousands of Minnesota children each year, and yet it’s hard for most community members to know how they can help prevent maltreatment and help kids who’ve been affected.
Care in Action Minnesota bridges the gap between those kids and the community members who want to help. Our work empowers individuals and groups to meet the needs of local children and families in tough situations.
They’re often little things that make a big difference.
Care in Action has developed partnerships with child protection services in the following counties:
We partner churches, businesses and other groups directly with individual child protection services workers through the adopt a social worker program.
We empower individuals to meet needs identified by social workers through our email partners program.
Through these partnerships, members of the community can provide resources for children and families who have experienced abuse and neglect.
