With the COVID-19 Pandemic causing school closures, thousands of students (K-12 & university level) are trying to complete their education online. With schools expected to remain closed for at least the Fall semester, many Minnesota’s students are struggling without access to the necessary tools.
Since the school closures past March, Care in Action Minnesota (CIAM) has received hundreds of requests from county social workers, for families needing a laptop or tablet device for their child, and for youth recently aged-out of foster care and starting college.
The need for more technology is and will continue to be high as we work to fill the digital divide facing our education system. Individual and corporate technology donations will be paramount in our efforts.
Let’s solve this together!
